We first came
across these cushions at the world's most sylish wooden beach
hut just off the beach overlooking Poole Bay. Or was it the
Torquay Trade Fair? These beach themed cushions are embroidered
with sea gulls, lighthouses and fishing buoys, are 100% cotton
and have an ecru striped cover with embriodered text of everybody,
except Cliff Richard's, favourite seaside song...."Oh
I do like to be beside the sea side". The four cushions
have the four rhymes so in to your old age you will never
forget the last line as you stare yonder across the sea to
the setting sun! The price quoted is per cushion including
inner padding but should you wish to use your own standard
size 50x50cm cushion interiors then we can offer free postage
on all sets of four cushions.

Perhaps inspired
by the beach huts and beautiful coastline of Dorset, we sell
these cushions individually or discounted when purchasing
three of any or mixed design. They measure 45cm by 45cm and
come with the inner cushion pads. Prettily embroidered and
100% cotton, they all have nautical stripes at the bottom
and either "Coast", "Sea" or the attractive
row of beach huts at the centre. "Coast" seems to
sell best alone and they make for attractive soft furnishing

Beach Huts
|
We worked out that we recently sold our 2000th beach hut.
That's a lot of beach huts and this is a very popular line.
We can officially announce that the most requested colour
is still pink closely followed by pale blue and then white.
Quite often new colours are tried, arrive and then sell
out, so we periodically send out an email when we receive
a shipment with the colours currently in stock. The seagulls
detach and we place them in the beach huts when dispatching.
These are all used mainly as decorative lines although the
moneyboxes do of course have a slot for your silver to save
your way through these recessionary times! Popular as decorations
for the old and saving instruments for the young! These

Beach Hut Light Pull

We sell these
superb hand painted beach hut light pulls in three colours
- darker blue, light blue and red. As you can see from the
images they are all hand painted and are quite unique light
pull lines. Colours may vary very slightly but look upon this
as having a unique product and these have attracted interest
from home furnishing magazines over the last couple of years.
It's a subtle nautical touch for the nautically themed room
and certainly gives you something substantial to pull on!

"one piece" Quayside Wall Hooks. These are a whopping
50cm in length so certainly make an impact and the pretty
cottages and fishing boat create a scene that could claim

Wooden Rustic Fish Pairs with Floats - 8 inches long

These come in pairs (2 on a string) and are
of course for hanging in kitchens, bathrooms or elsewhere
in the home or garden room. They have two matching floats
attached to a rope from which the nautically minded can choose
where to hang them. We do see lots of these grouped on work
surfaces, bathroom areas etc so don't feel bad about not dangling
them if you're going for a more horizontal decorative look!
They're made of wood and are hand painted. Note the rustic
colour and small net and shell designs on each fish. You're
seeing both sides of the fish in the image and they stand
approximately 8 inches from head to tail and about 2 inches
wide and only an inch deep. Hanging from the string from the
top of the rope to the tail you'll be looking at a length
of about 15 inches. A "hard to find" design and
why not take advantage of the cheaper quantity price and hang
two or three sets together?

It gets hot in our shop. We own and retail from an old Grade
2 listed building so our working conditions incorporate small
windows, lots of lights and lots of machinery for the ice
cream and drinks part of the business. We hang these pretty
little wooden fish thermometers from the beams and in the
heat of the Summer the ceiling flashes red with mercury and
our fish too are overworked! These come in white and blue

to Naive Art, an approach to painting and design which uses
